Riverside Walks Along the River Thames
The river is at the heart of Marlow and exploring it on foot is one of the simplest pleasures the town can offer. The Thames Path runs gently through the town and beyond, offering peaceful walks with views of the water, Marlow’s Suspension Bridge and passing boats.

Pause at Marlow Suspension Bridge & Weir
You’ll inevitably find yourself crossing Marlow ‘s Suspension Bridge. Designed in the 19th century, the bridge offers some of Marlow’s most scenic and beautiful views of the River Thames and is well worth stopping for. A short walk from here you’ll find Marlow’s Weir and watch the boats go by.
Higginson Park
Marlow’s local park set beside the river is a place to stroll through and take in the beautiful views, enjoy a coffee in one of the two cafes or take a boat trip with one of the local boat companies and see Marlow from the water.
Explore the High Street & Court Garden
Marlow’s High Street is busy and bustling and full of independent boutique shops that offer a great spot of shopping, alongside this there is a mix of delis, cafés, pubs and bars to unwind and relax in.
Local Brewery and Vineyard
Marlow and the surrounding area are also home to standout independent producers. Rebellion Brewery is known for its small-batch beers and welcoming taproom, where you can taste local beers, go on a tour or browse in their giftshop. If its sparkling wine, you’re into Harrow & Hope is Marlow’s local vineyard which offers vineyard tours and wine tasting.
